I need help.

Really need your help.

I'm of the fuller figure. I know that me, my chunky legs, and stripy tights do not mix (I have watched enough Trinny and Susannah to know that much).

However.

I'm going to be Snow Black, the fairgod mother, pixie, elf thingymibobby in LAMPS (my drama company... if you wanna call it that). We have most of my costume kinda sorted (the colours, anyways) and its been decided that I wear black and white (Snow Black? Geddit? Meh, I know, it's stupid). So, I want, no, NEED, black and white stripy tights.

To go with my black dress and soft, flowy capey thing that goes on top and my white fairy wings (although, at the first hint of one set of dress and wings clashing I'm having the pink and my friend's having the white). But I can't find any in my size. I've trawled eBay, gone to some sites, but I can't find any for my big fat legs (trying to get some sympathy here, dunno if it's working though).

Hell, I don't care if I get a pair of white hold up stockings and a pair of black ones and I wear them odd on the night or whatever, but I really want/need black and white striped stockings/tights.

Can any of you help me? Do you know anywhere I can buy some? It seems that everywhere I look all the tights with stripes are made for stick insect girls with legs like pipe cleaners... Its very disheartening.

I'm gonna try and start walking more... Ugh, walking. It's evil, and I hate it, but one day I will have a heart attack if my weight stays like this... Cause it isn't a good weight, and whilst there might be men out there who like the larger lady (or, in Mark's case, doesn't care what I look like, just as long as I keep smiling, which is sweet and lovely :D) I'm starting to feel a bit depressed when I walk past people and all they see is an elephant (or something equally as huge). Blows my self confidence every time (and I don't have much self confidence, or I'd be out doing something tonight, instead of staying in, half changed into my pjs, typing on LJ... Not that that's bad, it's just that I'm twenty... And this is basically what I've done almost every Saturday since I've been legally able to go out and have fun in an alcoholic stupor).

So anyways, if you know anywhere that sells stripy tights (pref that does internet shopping things) can you please please tell me, cause I really need them (and then I wouldn't feel so unconfident if I could wear them under stuff...)
