So, around the start of June, I moved into the shared flat that Mark was living in. Sometime this month, we're moving to the upstairs flat, where we don't have to share with anyone! Our first proper place! :D Doesn't have the funky kitchen of this flat we're in now, but we have our privacy, so we can walk around in whatever we want, whenever we want, cause we're living together in a flat that we're not sharing with anyone else! :D

Ok, so my status on Facebook should be, 'Rachel is making her Pokémon have babies so then she can buy things for her villa.' Cause... that's what I'm doing. I'm making my Pokémon have babies. It's kinda fun actually, cause I just got a Kadabra and a Lopbunny to successfully breed.

And I've just realised, I hate my microwave at the moment, so why did I buy microwaveable eats? I fail.

Who the fuck steals a tin opener? Since I've moved in we (as in me, Mark and Craig, the other flat mate) have lost three tin openers. We've gone out, come back and lo and behold, no fucking tin opener. Who the fuck steals a tin opener? Who steals three? We've spoken to the landlord about the door that doesn't always close by itself, but all he's done is change the lock. It's the fucking Yale lock thingy itself that needs looking at!

And the flat smelt of a deodorant that we've not smelt since I moved in... Since the other tenant legged it... But it could have been Craig and new man'fume... Maybe I should look in the shed for the tin openers... :|

Other news, I drove to Cardigan today after having stupid people in the shop. It was fun and chill outy. Also made me wanna listen to Busted, so I'm reripping my CDs, cause it fucked up the first time but I could never be bothered to redo them.

Not the dumbest ever, but I will not read eBay orders right. I just had to quickly package up another product for someone because I only gave them 1 of what they wanted, not the two that they ordered... So I'm gonna e-mail the lady now and say, 'Hai, I had the dumb yesterday so you get soaps separately! Bai!' ... Just a bit more formally, obviously.

I once sent a big emergency blanket (those foil things) when they guy wanted the small one with a whistle. Boss wasn't happy.

There's this girl, we'll call her Mary, and she Facebook'd me, asking how I am and what I'm doing for my birthday. Now, I have nothing against Mary, but I haven't invited her to what I am doing (which is watching movies late into the night then hopefully going to the park when it's dark and maybe see some stars) so I don't know how to tell her, 'Yeah, I'm good, and I have something arranged, just you're not invited.' Cause... That's kinda harsh...

So how do I tell her that?

In other news, I get to see Clare tonight for the first time in almost a year! Really happy about that, cause she (and Steff) are like two of my best friends.

So anyways. I'm gonna get changed, watch last 2/3 eps of Supernatural season 3 (which isn't all that OMFGEPICAMAZING but still OMFG EPIC!!!!!) then go to Aber and do some food shopping and munchie shopping! :D

Oh darling people of LJ, I need some help.

My computer needs a DVD drive that isn't region 1. It's region 1 cause my darling other half decided to switch more often than he could count, and as such made it stick to region 1, regardless of my use of DVD Genie (which makes it so then you can switch regions all the time). My question is, if I keep the old drive for region 1, and put in a new one for region 2, would the computer recognise the new one as a new one, thus it has it's five switches, or will it go, 'Ha, no wai!' and make that region 1 too?

I am getting thoroughly pissed off at having to watch my stuff in Mark's room. Hi, let me show all the ways I'm dependent on this room for fucking entertainment! I didn't want to fucking watch the eps of Doctor Who where they reset Donna, but when I mentioned I wanted to watch a Donna ep, Mark grabbed the mopuse, closed things that were running in the background then, even after I said I didn't want to watch that episode, he needled me to put it on! I've had enough of not getting to chose.

Heini's mam is awesome. She#s been giving me ideas for the wedding. Like, if I don't marry in Brondeifi I can still get married in the chruch in the uni and get like pretty pictures cause of tghe long corridors and shit.../. SHe;s awesoem. So the boat trip was ok. A two hour drive to get there (and I almost crashed into my dad - mum was distracting me!), seven hours on a boat WITH NO BATHROOM!! and two hours travelling back after testing out Waitrose's loos (very nice, posh shop - they had bagels with cream cheese and salmon that were cheaper than the all day breakfast sandwiches!). I fell asleep at 9:10ish, woke up at 10:20 then went back to sleep till 9am this morning! I was bushwacked!

So today, I'm still in my pjs, but I'm going over to mum's in a bit cause Mark is with his parents until 8:30 (I still don't like them and would rather not spend time with them for the forseeable future. I don't care how nice his mum is being, she and her husband still fucked things over and said that I didn't love Mark as much as he loved me if I didn't move to fucking Doncaster to be with a man who didn't have a job at the time... When I had a job here... I was being sensible and the fucking bastards threw it back in my face... Whatever, I don't like them.) and, even though I'm tres comfy here, I need some company.

Just had some Jaffa Cakes. Yummy! :D My net is still frozen toffee slow though. Like jumpy and shit. :(

Just normal work, it's anything I can lay my hands on, usually something with lyrics. When I'm writing, it's wordless music (so dance music or soundtracks and stuff like that). It's awesome cause the music influences the mood. :D

So the housewarming went well. Got towels. Twas cool.

Been working all day Monday and Friday for the past three weeks-month and basically dying because of it.

Getting my eyebrows shaped tomorrow. V excited. I can't pluck them as I'm allergic to pain that I cause myself... I should be fine with other people doing it! :D

Getting my highlights Thursday. Should be fun.

Saturday, I'm seeing family. Mark's coming with so it shouldn't be too dreadful.

Had a mock practical last week. Only four serious (two cause I couldn't reverse into a bay, one cause I had my foot on the clutch going round a corner and one cause there was a stupid fucking bitch stood in the middle of the road trying to cross looking fucking stupid making me get a fucking serious which would meant that I would fail if it was a real fucking test and if I see her I will really have to hold back the urge to punch her!).

Drove mum to Llangrannog last Thursday. On a sixty road, a little old fucking lady was doing fucking THRITY!!! Thirty miles an hour on a sixty mile per hour road! I almost rammed into the back of her cause she would almost literally stop to overtake PARKED cars! I wanted to punch the woman or key her car! This is still stressing me out!!!!

So... Sorry for the swearing. I hate idiots on the road. :(

I saw Ruth and her family today so I got to tell her that I'm moving in with Mark, cause she is the lushest customer person ever. She's so funny and funky! :D So we all got happy excited and yeah. She kicks ass! :D

So I'm on Eclipse now. New Moon was better than Twilight. I'm up to where Bella is seeing Jacob for the first time in ages because Alice didn't see her going so she could sneak over... Not a great message to have in a book, but I don't like a lot of it. Just... It's quite compelling to read, if only to moan about it afterwards. :: Shrugs :: I dunno.

The party rocked. I will post pictures one day, if only to show off the tutu (I need a picture of the flowers on it, cause I sewed them on, and they look cool). Had a bad day afterwards - got coffee on my fave top - but it was ok by the end of the day as I chilled out and Mark was there too. :)

He's meeting more of the family on the 27th of June. I've pointed him out to family and pointed family out to him, but I've not done a, 'Auntie [name] and uncle [name], meet Mark,' and I really should. :)

I know how I wanna do my hair for the wedding (mine, whenever it will be). You know in Back To The Future, when Lorraine is going to the Enchantment Under The Sea dance, and it's curly and lush? That's what I want. Or her hair when she follows Marty back to Doc's place and it's really pretty... I jut want pretty hair when I get married. Mark just wants to get married. :D

Been invited out on the 30th. Don't think I'll go. Just cause I'd have to get in a car to get there, so I won't get as drunk cause I'd have to travel home. :( I'll have a mini party with me and Mark by ourselves this weekend or something...

NCIS made me angry, but not as angry as when my computer suddenly decided it didn't like my portable hard drive any longer. It's ok, and all my data's there, but it doesn't work at home. At work, and probs at Mark's, it's fine. I still have my NaNo stuff (which I lost from the main PC when the computer got sent away to be "repaired", which it wasn't, it's still fucking around). But I've lost a load of my fanfics that I had saved to Word, and a load of my old Kathryn Janeway theatrical_muse stuff... I mean, I still have the LJ account, but it's the principle of it.

Is it bad that I could remember the Welsh for principle but not the English? At least my shorts have arrived. If I have to shorten them... Meh. It's for under a tutu. Oh!

I've got a black and red tutu, but the stiching was going all wiggy, so I got mum to sew up the little hole that came from busted stiches and then I sewed on three black fabric flowers, you know, just to cover the join. It looks kinda lush. :D And I customised a top, just a line of sequins (I cheated, they were already in a row, I just sewed them on) and some lace (mum sewed that on; even my tacking is crap). So I'm going to a surprise party on Saturday (my cousin turned 40 either today or earlier on in the week), so I'm wearing a black and red outfit - black top (customised one), black and red tutu, black shorts, red tights with black fishnets over them (under the shorts) and hopefully my black Mary Janes (four inch heels with a platform that I used when I dressed up as an overweight Hermione - I had the tie when I couldn't find my "Slytherin" tie (my old school tie)). Hopefully it'll look cool, and I won't look like mutton dressed as lamb.

:: Looks shiftily :: deltadasher (my sister) is hopefully going as a pirate. I need her to go as a pirate, cause I won't have the confidence to dress up in that outfit cause normally I'm the one in jeans and a t-shirt, but the party is smart casual so... Yeah. Is that outfit (skirt etc) smart casual? Or just weird? @__@

And I need to find my hair dryer, cause when I wash my hair and blow dry it, it goes poofy, which rocks! :D

I'm almost tempted to go as Hermione now. It's not dress up, but I would look tidy.

Right, better get back to working properly. I just wanted to update as I haven't done so in ages (mostly cause the guy who had the net that Mark shared disconnected it without warning during Sunday night (into Monday morning) and tried to sneak move out without paying the gas bill he owes). Work.

Edit: Oh! And I've started reading New Moon cause Christopher Heyerdahl is in the movie version, and I have a bit of a, 'OMFG it's Todd!' squees for him. On chapter three and it was a slog. Oh well, I have something to read on the trip up at least.
