Mark's gone over to his parents house for the morning. He offered for me to go too but I woulda been all pouty grr on their sofa, so I didn't think it would be a good idea.
So yeah, Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you all had fun. I did. :D Shit I love opening prezzies, and I'm always the first one up (although, I did nap from 8:15 - 8:45 after waking up at something stupid like 6:30ish...). So, swag is under the cut...
( I should really get to know my RL friends better, cause they know me too well... )
So Chrimbo day I sat with Mark and we watched tv. We missed the first 20 mins of Doctor Who! (We were watching X-Files at the time...) Dinner was good - we had beef, cause I can complain for Wales if we have turkey, cause I hate turkey (except for mini kievs, otherwise turkey's dry and horrible), and then we had loads of pudding (Christmas pud and ice cream). Mark was telling me how his appetite had exploded, but we soon brought it back down again.
Boxing Day, me, Mark and Ruth went out town, to see what was happening - bugger all. So we went to Somerfield, and I got Happy Feet, The Dark Knight, Wall-e and Rugrats Go Wild on DVD. Mark got Sky High (the one about superheroes in school), Wedding Singer and something else... Then we came home and watched Finding Neverland (I cried, even though I watched it on the 23rd on tv), Wall-E (I really liked it actually), Rugrats Go Wild (I loved Wild Thornberries as a kid), The Dark Knight (which wasn't as good as I expected, and a guy movie that tried to hide it's guy-ness but didn't) and Happy Feet (I hated it when they were nasty to Mumble, poor kid).
...
Seriously, Dark Knight? Good acting (not just from Heath Ledger, but from Gary Oldman as well) and some good costumes (yeah, I know they're only normal clothes, but they looked good) but overall? Didn't do it for me. We watched it all, Mark quite happy, and I was there thinking, 'Wtf is with the voice? If he doesn't want people to know who he is, he shouldn't be bloody throwing gala fundraisers for people who might recognise him!' And we started talking (over the movie) about how much I liked Cat Woman in the tv show (not knowing properly that Eartha Kitt was dead, even though dad had told me that morning - yeah, I know, I'm a doorknob!) and that Batman was better than Superman, cause he was doing all this without superpowers that he got from being an alien or what have you.
So yeah, movie fest yesterday, food fest the day before, and today? I get a few hours without him, before getting him again before taking him to the train station and not seeing him again for ages. :( But we will survive. We'll get through this, because we always do, because we love each other.
So now I'm gonna go on an Amazon splurge. Wish me luck. :D

I got first place in a freakin' icontest!!!! :D First freakin' place!!! :: Claps like a performing seal :: I am so happy!!! :D
So now I'm gonna check out how much of an eye-rape this icon I made over at Mark's is gonna look like...
[Looks]
You know... It's not so bad. A bit duller than I expected... Won't be using it though... Too dull for me...
But first freakin' place!!!
:: Coughs ::
I dismantled my bed today. My old bed anyways. The actual bit that you lie on (well, on a mattress on I mean) that fell on my foot, but it was only some sorta light wood so I was ok... Got a bruise coming up though (to add to my collection of bruises already on the bod of Rach). Meh.
It was Mark's birthday today. We watched the first hour and twenty minutes of Blood Rayne, but I got bored... Dreamcatcher? Such a good movie! Also, Damien Lewis can kinda pull off the American. Which rocks! Good movie... Shall have to read the book now. Oh! And I watched The Shawshank Redemption on Saturday. Why did I not listen to people when they told me about the awesome? I now need to read that too... And The Gunsligner, and a handful of other books... I'll be reading til Christmas... Yaay!!! :D
Now, I need to log off cause I need to sort out my room in the morning (as in, clear my shit out of mum and dad's room) and I need sleep... Maybe I should have less sleep cause I'm sleeping a good eight to nine hours now and I don't feel awake half the time. It's not good (but if I went to a doctor it would be to do with my weight and nothing else, so what's the point?).
Bed.

CCS for the win (Sakura and Syaoran are just the cutest couple evar!!! :D). Also, if you want a laugh watch 27 Dresses. It rocks (and I'm not usually a fan of RomComs but I liked it). James Marsden's in it. You'll like it. Kinda... It's good. :)
I'm 21 in like 23 days!!! :D Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!
:: Coughs ::
Gotta go workikins... Bai!!!

Clowns suck ass... Especially evil clowns that kill little kids (yes, Rachel did the stupid and watched Stephen King's It... again). Seriously, those people had issues, especially the girl. How come, everytime Pennywise tried to freak her out (and succeed) it was in the form of blood? Yeah, other people also had blood in their freak outs, but hers was all over the shop. Really thick gooey blood that did not look nice...
...
Getting the book though. I wanna read it, cause I like seeing if the book is better than the (made for tv) movie.
Work in 45ish minutes. :( Meh. Finish at two. Good enough for me.

Grabbed from... someone... Can't remember who.
Watched 'From Hell' tonight. OMG the guy that headbutted Johnny Depp's character is in Pobol y Cwm... He's one of the good guys in Pobol y Cwm (well, kinda)... So when we saw him, me and Ruth were like, 'OMG it's Brandon!!!!' (cause we don't know his real name)... And when he headbutted Johnny Depp I was like :: joygasms ::
...
Well, kinda. It was soooooooooooo good!!!
Nicholas McGaughey - that's his name (thank god for imdb.com). Good actor. :D
Bed. I have boring crappy work tomorrow. It was ok today. Only one boss came to see me, and he moved stuff around. He's worried about Russell, said his head's been in the clouds. Poor guy (Russ, not his dad). Oh well, things will sort themselves out, they always do.

I think it's inevitable that as we read each other's journals we create mental pictures of each other. Post this on your own journal to find out who your friends see when they read about your life.
Two Rules:
1. The person must be in the movies or on TV (but doesn't have to be an actor/actress). The person can be specific to a role (e.g. Jennifer Elhe's Elizabeth Bennet) or just the person themself.
2. You have to post a link to a picture of said person in the comments.
These castings can be based on things in the person's personality or on physical traits you know they have.
Aww, the Princess Bride is such a sweet movie! :D Ah, Westly is sweet! (And to think, the actor then does Follomer in The X-Files! :D)

I don't know how my sister does it. She's sitting here in the main room, calmly watching 'Fear Dot Com' (fucking sick movie!). I'm by the computer, headphones on, music on full blast, trying to keep the sound out, trying not to look at the tv screen. I gave up on watching it after about 20 mins. Fucking sick! :( Anything that has weird freaky sadistic death (sadistic being the one that likes hurting people?) freaks me out. If it's just kinky sex, fine, but kinky death. :| Gross!
Well, they've just shot the baddie in the knee, but he's shot the hero in the stomach! Great, lovely movie(!) Give me a romantic comedy anyday!
Oh it's ended, kinda boringly. The woman was just stroking her cat (a real cat, not the metaphorical one all women have). So crap. My sis loved it. She's freaky.
I still haven't packed for tomorrow. Got choir, and I've lost the cover letter telling me what the uniform is, when the bus leaves etc. So I need to go in tomorrow morning and see Mrs H. Urk. Not really spoken to her in ages. And now I'm bored.
I can't write my fic!!! This one part of the scene (Steff and Clare know my problem), I could write the rest now, but I need the link between! :| :: Growls :: I'll write the bit afterwards, and hope that inspiration comes (or she comes, whichever comes first).
